A Lifetime of Painting
Trained, Exhibited & Devoted to the Craft
Barbara graduated from Vassar College and did her masters work at the Rhode Island School of Design. She has been painting professionally since childhood and has held twenty-one one-person exhibits of her work.
Her portraits are created in pen and ink, watercolour and gouache. Each house portrait is architecturally correct, while she captures the beauty and charm of every unique property.
Over a remarkable career she has painted more than 700 commissioned house portraits in five countries and over 150 towns — embassies, museums, hotels, historic houses, farms, restaurant interiors and private residences among them.
